Ample parking and great location. Close to park and near good selection restaurants
The bathroom was clean, near the tram stop, surrounded by a cinema, walking distance to the town center
Hotel is a perfect place for a weekend in Ashton-under-Lyne. The pool is heated with a Jacuzzi and a sauna provided. We had steaks, burgers and pizza at the bar.
We loved the buffet breakfast and the great staff. When we checked in, our club room was ready. Pool was a nice addition. Lots of fantastic food for meals.
Attached fitness and wellness centre incl. large swimming pool, therefore the hotel is also suitable for families with children passing through. Pleasant restaurant and bar.
The cushions were too hard, the air conditioning could not be switched off and was too loud
Great hotel with modern beautiful equipment. Top price performance. Good connection with the streetcar to Manchester.
Ventilation in the night very loud was not switchable.
Breakfast service insufficient
Door slamming or similar noise at night - extremely annoying.
Enjoyed a 1 night stay for a family function and found the staff to extremely friendly, Food in the restaurant was very good and a very knowledgeable wine waiter. Rooms are the typical new "trendy" rooms which, while perfectly acceptable at present however I feel they will date / wear quickly.
The room was comfortable and well looked after each day, the open weekend occured during our stay which was well organised, we took the opportunity to make use of the swimming pool with our young Grandaughter and found the staff very helpfull. The local multiplex cinema is located in the same area and is within 5 minutes walk as are a broad selection of eateries which cater for the younger family members tastes. Our breakfast and evening meals were taken in the Hotel and were good value.
The food at breakfast. Actually getting the room we asked for on the 2nd night.
Being put in a disabled room when I booked a standard, no apology for this. Rude reception staff, on checkout one tried to charge for papers when we stated we didn't want them, then not apologising. Hen party going on, on arrival, the reception hall was overcrowded, no attempt by staff to move them on to make it more accessible, also the noise levels when trying to sleep were ridiculous because of them, no effort from staff to quieten them down. TV standby was turned off and then the remote didn't work in disabled room, could not change the batteries at reception as they had "ran out". Was never asked how our stay was on checkout. Poor service at dinner for first night, was sat down and ordered drinks, waited 20 mins and no one came back so we had to go and get someone ourselves, unacceptable!!! I am in the process of making a complaint via letter as we speak.
We stayed at the hotel only one night but enjoyed our stay and found it very conveinient for the city of manchester stadium. The room was excellent and beds very comfy. Plenty of choice for breakfast though it could have been a bit hotter!. All the staff were very polite and most helpful. Would definately use this chain again.
The hotel was brand new and looked stunning. Room was comfortable with ewverything we needed. Really good breakfast and fantastic price.
Good value for money, friendly staff & good facilities
